When submitting your details to our web site or when attending a Speed Date Ltd event, you implicitly accept our Terms & Conditions and you warrant that you have full authority to do so. Furthermore, you warrant that you are 18 years or over.
You understand that Speed Dating is for SINGLE people and that it is understood by your participation that you are single.

We reserve the right to check identification. Matches are not guaranteed. No refunds will be given.

It is Speed Date Ltd's aim to organise events in a relaxed and safe environment in which single people can meet. It is expected that people attending our events are of good character and that information they supplied to us is accurate. We do not verify the information or carry out any background checks. Please as always tread with caution and common sense when meeting people for the first time with releasing any personal information.

Speed Date Ltd’s goal is 8-12 potential dates per event but this is not guaranteed. Should people pull out at the last minute or don't show up then the number of dates will be less and this is out of our control. Speed Date Ltd and/or its associates are not held responsible in the event of distress or damages incurred by attending an event - Inclusive of any damages or distress originating from communication with any other Speed Date client.

Speed Date Ltd holds events at a variety of venues which Speed Date Ltd are independently owned and controlled. Consequently, Speed Date Ltd will not be held liable for any damages, harm, loss nor for any inconvenience should a venue need to be changed.
When you register with Speed Date Ltd and/or attend an event, you know that while you will meet new people, you accept that successful matches are not guaranteed and nor are the outcomes of any subsequent meetings between participants.
On rare occasions, media may be present at events. By participating in Speed Date Ltd events you implicitly accept that media may publish photographs or images of you. The purpose of this is for marketing and publicity of Speed Date Ltd.

Speed Date Ltd sends email newsletters to members and periodically sends emails about new services, special offers, scheduled service interruptions, etc. Our members can opt-out of receiving communications from us by unsubscribing from our mailing list. To do so, simply send us an email or opt-out on the newsletter.

If you wish to make a complaint regarding the services provided by Speed Date Ltd please email [email protected] in the first instance.

Speed Date Ltd has a strict NO refund policy.

If you are unable to attend an event you have booked and paid for, you may transfer to another event provided that 5 days notice is given. Please email to [email protected] and state that you would like a transfer.

If a transfer request is made with less than 5 full days notice the booking will be made void.
You may reassign your booking to another person of the same gender of your choosing by notifying Speed Date Ltd at any stage. If you are unable to arrange a replacement regrettably there will be NO refunds for the event booked.

Postponement or cancellation of the event

From time to time it may be necessary to change the location, date or time of an event. Furthermore, postponement or cancellation may be necessary.

We recognize that our guests look forward to attending our events and that postponing or canceling an event can be extremely frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We assure you that we make every effort to ensure that all events proceed as planned and only postpone or cancel an event when we are confident that the experience for our guests would not be up to the normal high standards. Speed Dating relies on there being an equal number of men and woman and if the ratio is way out of balance, or there just aren't enough people overall then we prefer to choose the lesser of two evils and postpone or cancel the event.

Confidentiality of Personal Information

Speed Date Ltd respects your privacy and is careful when storing your personal information in a database on a secure server. None of your information is divulged without your consent unless the law requires that we do so. It is stored so that we can communicate with you after an event and for direct marketing purposes. It will not be sold to any other company.

When you take part in a Speed Date Ltd event, you implicitly permit us to inform any "mutual match" (i.e. a person who you have indicated you would like further contact with and who has indicated the same interest). what your name is and provide and email address and/or a contact phone number. None of your personal information will be revealed without your prior consent.
There are likely to be events and announcements that may be of interest to you and we will contact you about these via email or telephone. You may request to unsubscribe from communications by emailing [email protected]. On receipt of an email request, you will be removed from our database.

Privacy Statement

Speed Date Ltd has your privacy in mind and we will not forward your information to anyone else unless you have consented to us doing so.
Speed Date Ltd does require that, when you register with us, you let us know your email address or other contact information. The sole purpose of our obtaining this information is to include you in Speed Dating Ltd’s direct marketing database and/or secure your participation in a Speed Date Ltd event.
Your first name and contact details may be forwarded to any participants at an event you have attended when both parties have selected "yes" or "friend" and indicated an interest in further contact. Your information will not be divulged to other event participants without your permission.

Speed Date Ltd does not purport to be a match making or dating agent. We are event organisers.
We arrange meet and greet events in a fun and safe environment.
We do not guarantee that participants at our events have been honest regarding their marital status. Neither do we guarantee that participants are of sound character. It is up to the individual to make judgements and clarify information about other participants. We do not screen participants. That is up to you.
Speed Date Ltd is not to be held liable for any loss or damage, injury or harm that has arisen when encountering any participant at or subsequent to a Speed Date Ltd event.

The name that will appear on your statement will be SPEED DATE NZ LTD
